How much can be applied for

The maximum grant 3M euro per series is determined by the eligible production costs to be directly spent on parties subject to Dutch taxation, multiplied by 35%.
The applicant is legally represented by an independent producer who, as majority producer, was responsible for at least 1 high end series or single episode or 1 film
production (reference film with a budget of min. 500.000 euro) over the past 7 years.
These television series must have been distributed by Dutch broadcasting parties or by video on demand platforms publicly accessible in the Netherlands.
The Netherlands is one of the countries of origin among the co-producers.

At least 50% of the financing should be committed by third parties upon application.
Applications can be submitted by a production company that has operated consistently in the area of production and release in the Netherlands, the EU, EEA or Switzerland, for at least 2 years.
A minimum eligible spend of 15% of the total production budget is required.
The series should be completely financed within 6 months of the Fund’s decision upon an application.
Eligible applications are ranked, based on a points system. A minimum of 75 points out of 210 is required.
A series must be distributed by Dutch broadcasting or by video on demand platforms publicly accessible in the Netherlands.
Even after shooting is completed, application is possible for postproduction activities.
